Lawrence M. Cardon was born in Brooklyn, New York on April 3, 1943. He received his B.S. from the University of Virginia in 1965 and his J.D. in 1973 from T.C. Williams School of Law. He was admitted to the Bar of the Commonwealth of Virginia in 1974.

Larry Cardon is a weight lifter extraordinaire, and is the current American and world record holder in bench press. He is a member of the Norfolk and Portsmouth Bar Association, the Virginia Beach Bar Association and the Virginia State Bar. He practices law in the areas of Personal Injury, Criminal Defense and Traffic Defense.
