  George Neskis

 

 

 

 

George A. Neskis was born in Norfolk, Virginia on March 29, 1959. He graduated from Granby High School in Norfolk, Virginia in 1977 and received his B.S. from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University in 1981. He received his J.D. in 1984 from the University of Richmond. Also in 1984, he was admitted to the Bar of the Commonwealth of Virginia and to the Bar of the U.S. District Court, Eastern District of Virginia. He was admitted to the Bar of the U.S. Court of Appeals, Fourth Circuit, in 1984. From 1985-1989, he served as the Assistant Commonwealth's Attorney in the City of Norfolk, Virginia.

George Neskis is a member of the Norfolk and Portsmouth Bar Association. Since his association with this group, he has served as a member of the Program Committee (1988-89), the Criminal Courts Committee (1989-90) and the Courts of Justice Committee. He served as Chairman of the Executive Committee, Young Lawyers Section, in 1993-94. He is also a member of the Virginia State Bar. Additionally, he speaks fluent Greek. George Neskis practices law in the areas of Traffic Law, Criminal Law and Personal Injury.
